Villapana is part of an italian group, the Randi Group, specialized in the processing of wine making byproducts. The company purchases raw materials, mainly grape marc and wine lees, directly from italian wineries to process them and transform them in finished products both for the b2b and the retail markets. The production byproducts are re-used to produce thermal and electrical energy for the company's needs, and lastly are re-used in agricolture as fertilizers. The Uvoilà brand was born in 2021.
