Meridaunia Scarl was established as a LAG Local Action Group in 1998 and is a real "Development Agency" of the Monti Dauni territory in the province of Foggia in Apulia, operating in 30 municipalities with an overall function of supporting development and the creation of enterprises and jobs. Meridaunia's institutional task is essentially the elaboration and implementation of development strategies for the territory, through the involvement of the largest number of local public and private socio-economic actors as well as local communities.
